Hello, American friends, and welcome!
My name is Marco Ferrara. I am an Italian citizen, blogger, and activist from Abruzzo, a beautiful region in central Italy.
I created this section especially for readers from the United States and for everyone interested in discovering Italy, understanding Italian society, and exchanging ideas across the Atlantic.
But this is not just a place where I talk about my country.
It is an invitation to get to know one another, share experiences, and discover how much we can learn from different perspectives.

Italy is much more than its famous monuments, delicious food, and beautiful landscapes.
It is also a country of ordinary people, small businesses, historic villages, family traditions, social challenges, and hopes for the future.
Through my articles, I would like to introduce you to the Italy I experience every day: its beauty, its traditions, its problems, and the things I believe could be improved.
From the mountains of Abruzzo to the shores of the Adriatic Sea, there are countless stories waiting to be discovered.

We may not always agree, and that is perfectly fine.
