An Italian activist has a question for American citizens. I’d love to hear your honest opinion!
Hello again, my American friends! 🇺🇸👋
Today, I would like to ask you a question that many people around the world are curious about.
As an Italian citizen and activist, I often follow international politics, and naturally, the United States plays an important role in discussions about the future of our world.
Your country has enormous influence on the global economy, international relations, security, and many other issues that affect people far beyond American borders.
And, of course, one of the most discussed political figures in the world is your president, Donald Trump.
But today, I don’t want to tell you what to think about him. Instead, I want to hear directly from you!
🇺🇸 Do You Really Like Donald Trump?
Let’s get straight to the point.
Are you genuinely happy with Donald Trump as your president?
Do you believe he is doing a good job for the United States? Do you feel that his policies are improving your life and the lives of ordinary American families?
Or are you disappointed with some of his decisions?
Perhaps you supported him when you voted, but your opinion has changed since then. Maybe you still support him strongly. Or perhaps you have never agreed with his political approach.
All these perspectives are welcome here.
I’m particularly interested in hearing from ordinary American citizens, not just politicians, commentators, or television personalities.
After all, you are the people who experience the consequences of political decisions in your everyday lives.
💬 What Do You Think About His Policies?
I’d be interested in hearing your views on a few important questions:
1. The economy and the cost of living
Do you feel that the economy is working in your favor? Are everyday expenses, housing, groceries, and other necessities becoming more affordable for American families?
2. Immigration
Do you agree with Trump’s approach to immigration and border security? Do you think his policies are fair and effective?
3. International relations
Do you believe his approach to other countries is making the world safer, or do you worry that it could create further tensions?
4. Trust in the president
Do you trust Donald Trump to make decisions in the best interests of the American people, even when you disagree with him?
5. Your personal opinion
If you could change one thing about his presidency, what would it be?
You don’t have to answer every question. Even a few sentences about your experience or your point of view would be greatly appreciated.
🌎 An Italian Citizen Wants to Understand the American Point of View.
Why am I asking these questions?
Because I believe we should listen to people directly rather than rely exclusively on what we see on television, read in newspapers, or encounter on social media.
From Italy, it is easy to hear strong opinions about American politics. Some people admire Trump, others criticize him, and many have more complicated views.
But I don’t want to assume that I know what American citizens really think.
I’d rather ask you directly.
I am an Italian citizen who believes in democracy, public participation, and the importance of allowing people to express their opinions freely and respectfully.
You may support Trump, oppose him, or feel somewhere in between. What matters to me is understanding your reasons.
You don’t need to agree with me, and I’m certainly not asking you to defend your country or its president.
I’m simply inviting you to share your perspective.
🤝 Different Opinions, One Important Conversation.
Political discussions can sometimes become heated, especially when people feel strongly about their beliefs.
However, I believe that we can disagree without treating one another as enemies.
A healthy democracy needs citizens who ask questions, examine political decisions, and hold their leaders accountable.
That applies in the United States, in Italy, and everywhere else.
So, whether you are a Republican, a Democrat, an independent voter, or someone who prefers not to identify with any political party, I would genuinely like to hear from you.
Your opinion matters, regardless of which side of the political debate you are on.
